Mujhe Apna Bana Lo is a story of four university friends, of whom two love each other. However, the relationship is doomed for disaster as the boy (Imran Abbas) is Muslim, whose father hates Hindus, and the girl (Ayesha Khan) hails from a staunch Hindu family. Although the lovers are willing to overlook their religious differences, when the boy’s parents find out, they vehemently oppose the match.
